    Get to Know Scott

    Scott M. Lyons, CPA

    Scott M. Lyons holds a degree in accounting, a Juris Doctorate, a Master of Laws in Taxation and is a graduate of the University of Arizona and the University of San Diego. A member of both the California Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Scott is a licensed certified public accountant in California and Arizona. He is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He has over thirty-five years of accounting experience and has been named a “best C.P.A.” by San Diego Magazine.

    A team of skilled bookkeepers, staff accountants, tax preparers and administrators partner with Scott to provide the highest quality of service to each client.

  • Kevin E. Lyons, CPA

    Get to Know Kevin

    Kevin E. Lyons, CPA

    Equipped with a Hospitality Management degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, I began my professional career as a hotel employee in Las Vegas. While I enjoyed the hospitality business (and the client-first mentality it instilled in me), my interests shifted when I started working closely with the hotel’s Accounting department as a night auditor.

    I found I had a great passion for working with numbers. Moreso, it reminded me of the times I’d help my dad around the office of his accounting firm back home. Eventually, I followed this passion straight back to San Diego, where I joined my dad once more—this time as a full-time employee for Lyons Accountancy Group. I went on to receive my accounting certificate from the University of California San Diego before obtaining my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

    Today, I’m proud to still work alongside my family members as we help our clients feel more confident in making tax-focused decisions all year long.

    Get to Know Russell

    Russell S. Lyons

    Though born and raised in San Diego, my professional career began at Tulane University in New Orleans. In 2016, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Management with dual minors in Marketing and Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong business foundation and a passion for finding creative ways to make a meaningful impact.

    After graduating, I returned home to San Diego and joined Kevin and Scott in the family business in 2017. Since then, I’ve continued to prioritize ongoing education, earning an accounting certificate from UCSD Extension and working toward my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

    Today, I’m grateful to be part of our family’s business, as we help our clients navigate important and meaningful financial decisions with care.
