About Us

With a lifelong interest in law, finance, and tax strategy, I built my educational path around understanding how these disciplines intersect. I earned my accounting degree, a Juris Doctorate, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Arizona and the University of San Diego—a combination that continues to shape the way I approach complex financial and tax matters today.

Over the years, I’ve maintained active involvement in the industry as a member of both the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, I hold my Certified Public Accountant license here in California, along with my California Real Estate Broker’s license.

With more than 45 years of experience, I’m proud to bring a broad, multidisciplinary perspective to the work I do each day as our team helps clients make thoughtful decisions in support of their greater goals.

Equipped with a Hospitality Management degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, I began my professional career as a hotel employee in Las Vegas. While I enjoyed the hospitality business (and the client-first mentality it instilled in me), my interests shifted when I started working closely with the hotel’s Accounting department as a night auditor.

I found I had a great passion for working with numbers. Moreso, it reminded me of the times I’d help my dad around the office of his accounting firm back home. Eventually, I followed this passion straight back to San Diego, where I joined my dad once more—this time as a full-time employee for Lyons Accountancy Group. I went on to receive my accounting certificate from the University of California San Diego before obtaining my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Today, I’m proud to still work alongside my family members as we help our clients feel more confident in making tax-focused decisions all year long.

Though born and raised in San Diego, my professional career began at Tulane University in New Orleans. In 2016, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Management with dual minors in Marketing and Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong business foundation and a passion for finding creative ways to make a meaningful impact.

After graduating, I returned home to San Diego and joined Kevin and Scott in the family business in 2017. Since then, I’ve continued to prioritize ongoing education, earning an accounting certificate from UCSD Extension and working toward my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Today, I’m grateful to be part of our family’s business, as we help our clients navigate important and meaningful financial decisions with care.
